Adjusting Port Blockers to Fit Manure Pumping Needs

Port blockers help keep enough back pressure in the manifold to allow for even distribution. The different sizes of port blockers allow the manifold to be adjusted to fit the needs of the operation and accommodate gallon per minute requirements.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

         > 3" | Best fit for 1,200 to 1,400 gallons per minute or higher

         > 6" | Best fit for 1,000 to 1,200 gallons per minute

         > 9" | Best fit for 800 to 1,000 gallons per minute

Standard and Flux manifolds manufactured by Bazooka Farmstar, come with three different port blocker sizes: 3", 6", and 9" with the 3" port blockers coming pre-installed. If you need to adjust port blocker sizes to fit different GPM requirements, follow the quick and easy steps outlined below.

STEP 1:

Select the port blocker size to ACCOMMODATE your GPM requirements. (See recommendations above)

STEP 2:

Remove the TWO port blocker bolts that are directly connected to the port blocker.

STEP 3:

REMOVE the port blocker from the manifold.

STEP 4:

Replace with the DESIRED port blocker.

STEP 5:

Reinstall the TWO port blocker bolts and tighten.

STEP 6:

REPEAT these steps for the other two port blockers on the manifold.
